Wow – what a month! I am now a grandfather of six instead of five. My newest is Penelope Dae, better known as “Daesie!” My son, Kris and his wife Rachel are the proud parents, and I’m just as happy as I can be for them. My grandsons Kenner and Jack are happy big brothers, and everything seems to be going very well. Of course, Nana is super excited, and so is Gukka (that’s my wife and I)!
There’s a lot of other stuff going on, but hey – when you got something like a new...
After some major flight delays, the guys finally arrived
in Rapid City and proceeded to wow the crowds with
Petra's legendary version of rock & roll, including
vintage classics such as Beyond Belief and He
Came, He Saw, He Conquered along with John's
signature vocals and Bob's blazing guitar licks.
Greg Bailey took the stage with his cool bass lines,
and fill-in drummer Cristian Borneo kept perfect time.

JOHN SCHLITT HOLDS NEW WORLD RECORD
On Friday, June 18, 2010, a world record was set for
'Most Unusual Request for an Autograph by a Fan' in the
tiny town of Wilson in northern Wisconsin.
Following a stellar performance by Schlitt at Calvary
Assembly of God, fans lined up to speak with the singer
and have him sign autographs, as is the usual modus
operandi. However, a most unusual request was made of
Schlitt by a fan during this time.
Having no other means of obtaining the signature except
for what was in his immediate possession, the fan
proceeded to hand Schlitt a Dorito (nacho cheese, of
course).
While taken aback at the strange request, Schlitt, ever
willing to please, proceeded to carefully sign the
Dorito with grace and dignity.
Upon review, it was decided (by the webmasters at
JohnWSchlitt.com) that the Nacho Cheese Dorito autograph
qualifies as the MOST Unusual Request for an Autograph
by a Fan, and henceforth awards the honor and world
record to John Schlitt.
